‘Go Beyond’ Book Launch
The launch of ‘Go Beyond’, written by Neville Pritchard & Richard Scott, was held at the British library on Thursday 3rd May. The book explores the current state of HR, and closely focuses on areas where we might go beyond for greater impact. Standard solutions and best practice are no longer enough. We must go beyond to find unique solutions for our own unique challenges.
The evening began with some musical entertainment and group singing led by Susan Heaton-Wright. Susan, Fellow of the RGS and former opera singer, provided an energising and insightful musical introduction to the evening, creating an instant community through the shared experience. We were even treated to a fine display of ‘jazz hands’ from the People in Flow team!
Once warmed up, the audience saw an informative, innovative and entertaining presentation from the authors. The presentation acted as an overview of ‘Go Beyond’, covering key topics such as the role of HR (People Support), the language of business and beyond. Some excellent debate and conversation was sparked, and we were pleased to answer some lively questions from the group.
We would like to thank everyone who joined us, and remind those who were unable to make it that you can get your copy of ‘Go Beyond’ here.
